Nothing to Wear, A Quick Solution

Are you filled with dread?

When it’s time to get dressed?

Do you go to your closet wondering what you will wear?

Is your dark closet stuffed with clothes?

Or maybe you only have a few items hanging in your closet.

Why can’t you find anything to wear?

  • You have gained or lost weight and nothing fits right.

  •  You have lots of separates but only a few pieces mix and match

  •  Your lifestyle has become more casual and you no longer need or want to wear those suits.

  •  Your closet is so dark and crowded you don’t remember and can’t see what you own.

Do you end up wearing the same few outfits every day.?

You are not alone because most women wear only 20% of the clothes they own.

A few solutions.

  • If you don’t already have a full-length mirror purchase one.

    full-length mirror

  •  Install a light in your closet.

(If you don’t have a socket for a bulb in your closet you can purchase battery-run lights that stick to the wall and automatically come on.)

  • At the beginning of each new season put a few hours aside to do a closet cleanout.

(Use 5 large plastic containers, one for repair, one for consigning or donate and one for needs matching pieces and a fourth for million-dollar looks)

Go shopping virtually with your “orphan pieces,” to find stores that have items in stock that are your size and that flatter your body shape.

Then take your “orphan pieces,” shopping to those brick and mortar stores for some “trying on.”

But these days it’s almost impossible to find coordinates that match.

Here is an easy solution

Especially if you have a top that does not have a matching bottom piece.

Buy pants or skirts that are a shade of your hair color.

Because our eyes automatically search for repeated colors, when you wear a shade of your hair color on your bottom half, anyone looking at you will see your hair color and then go down to your bottom half and then back again

            “pulling you together visually”

Magically you will look like your two separates are an outfit.
