Do You Hate Drinking Water?

Have you struggled with ways to get yourself to drink more water? But you hate the taste and smell of water?

Our bodies are 80 % water.  When you don’t drink enough water what happens?

You Gain Water Weight. It sounds counterintuitive, but skimping on water can actually cause waterretention and temporary weight gain. “When you‘re not drinking enough [water], your body holds every drop to prevent severe dehydration,” says Abby Sharp, RD.Apr 28, 2016

For years I encouraged my friend Joy to give up soda and drink more water.

Joy has made various attempts to drink more water and give up soda without much luck until recently.

She did switch to soda without caffeine but the soda still had aspartame.

It took slow healing after knee surgery and a physical therapist to finally convince her that she had to give up soda and drink more water.

But Joy hates the taste of plain water.

Joy tried Crystal Light but discovered it had a lot of sodium and it also had aspartame sweetner.  Aspartame has been linked to inflamation in the body, Alzheimers and various other problems.

Recently Joy was at Target in the aisle with drink mixes looking for something healthier than Crystal Light.

She discovered something called STUR.  http://www.sturdrinks.com/

It’s a liquid flavor enhancer.  The main ingredient is Stevia. It comes in 4 flavors.

It’s gluten free, has no calories, no caffeine, no apartame.

Joy likes it so much she has been able to increase her water intake to 64 oz a day!

Congratulations  Joy!
